Food insecurity in our community is a bigger issue than ever before. It is with this in mind that your Community Grocers are excited to announce the launch of the 2023 Holiday Turkey Drive, a collaborative effort by local grocers (St Mary’s Supermarket, Fredericton Direct Charge Co-op, Peters Meat Market and Victory Meat and Produce Market) who are joining forces with The Fredericton Firefights Association.  Together, we aim to collect 2000 turkeys to benefit the Greener Village Food Bank this holiday season.

Residents are invited to participate in this campaign by making donations of any amount at all participating locations. The Turkey Drive runs from now until December 4^th, with every $35 raised contributing towards the purchase of a turkey for a family in need. This heartwarming campaign captures the spirit of community and has a meaningful impact on local families during this festive season. Your generosity can make a significant difference in ensuring everyone has a joyous and plentiful holiday meal.
